We have a Protect A Child pool fence supplied by Mr. Feldman and his company Protect A Child of Oregon. When the pool is being used, we open one section at a time and use that opening as the only access for the pool. It is as unobjectionable as I have ever seen. It is also very complimentary to our patio area.
