I can install my fence in minutes.
Our three boys can swim now, so we no longer keep the fence up continuously. However, we do put up the pool fence when we have company with small children or pets. Believe me, our fence helps everyone relax and enjoy their vacation a little more; after all, we live in South Florida so, our visitors usually are.
So how hard is it to reinstall? It’s easy. Start by removing the deck caps.
Yes, a butter knife is my tool of choice.
After removing the deck caps, the next step is to anchor the fence at the starting point. I unroll the fence as I go along, inserting each fence post (or peg, as I call them) after the next. Finally, I fasten each of the sections together using the special pool fence safety latches.
And that’s all there is to it. In less than five minutes, my fence is back up and securely in place, just like new.

Recently, while I was reinstalling my pool fence, I really thought about what my fence means to my home and guests.
- It’s an added layer of protection for any child in my home.
- It prevents accidents and provides peace of mind, not only to me as a homeowner, but to my family and friends, who trust me to care for their children.
My fence undeniably adds value to my home by protecting people and pets. Designed to last using extremely durable mesh and unbreakable fiberglass fence posts, a Protect-A-Child pool fence is a great investment that will provide peace of mind for years to come.
